A good night’s sleep is invaluable, especially after giving birth. At The BabyWorks our night nannies come from a wide variety of backgrounds some work in hospitals as midwives or breastfeeding consultants, others have years of extensive experience in night nannying whilst some will have a newborn qualification such as an MNT or NEST certificate. Night nannies generally start their evening at 9/10 pm and finish at 6/7 am the following day (minimum of 9 hours booking). Their role generally involves being responsible for and caring for the baby evening, this will include:
Feeding the baby throughout the night
Changing the baby’s nappy during the night
Ensuring that any bottles or equipment that have been used are clean and sterilized
Settling the baby during the evening and helping establish a good routine (please note this only works if a night nanny is booked on a consecutive basis).
Our night nannies can be booked on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis.
What our clients say:
“The BabyWorks was very professional in its whole approach, as well as being helpful and understanding about the specific requirements of the client. We felt able to rely completely on the helpful suggestions that were offered by Laura and Ali. The whole experience was excellent and provided some very necessary support at a key moment in our lives. Many thanks for everything.”
Chris, London
“All the experts kept telling me that I would not be able to lift anything heavy following the operation, how on earth do you explain that to a 17 month toddler who is keen to explore all and everything. This is when I found out about The Babyworks after browsing on the internet. I promptly called and spoke to one the founders, Ali and explained my situation. I told her I thought that I would only need a night nurse. Ali was great and reassured me straight away. Ali kept in contact throughout. I definitely made the right decision by using The Babyworks. I would therefore highly recommend The Babyworks.”
